Sekiranya gunung menjadi penghalang (perjalanan) mereka, nescaya gunung itu akan (mereka pukul sehingga) hancur rata menjadi jalan mereka."Sabda Nabi SAW, "Akan datang Panji-panji Hitam dari Timur, seolah-olah hati mereka adalah kepingan-kepingan besi. Sesiapa yang mendengar tentang mereka, hendaklah datang kepada mereka dan berbaiatlah kepada mereka, sekalipun terpaksa merangkak di atas salji." (Al-Hafiz Abu Nuaim)

Kata Sayidina Ali KMW, "Maka Allah Azza wa Jalla menghimpunkan sahabat-sahabatnya (tentera al-Mahdi yang dipanggil Ikhwan) seramai tentera-tentera Badar dan seramai tentera Talut, yaitu 313 orang lelaki, seolah-olah mereka itu singa-singa jantan yang keluar dari hutan. Hati mereka itu ibarat kepingan-kepingan besi. Kalau mereka berkehendak untuk memindahkan gunung, niscaya akan mereka lakukan. Pakaian mereka sejenis dan seolah-olah mereka itu dari satu ibu dan satu ayah."
Dari Ibnu Umar RA katanya, Rasulullah SAW ditanya oleh para sahabat RA, "Apakah ada orang yang beriman kepadamu sedangkan mereka tidak pernah melihatmu dan membenarkan ajaranmu sedangkan mereka tidak pernah melihatmu?" Baginda SAW menjawab, "Mereka itu adalah Ikhwanku dan mereka bersama-samaku. Rasulullah SAW, ada menyebutkan mengenai Ikhwan ini yang maknanya kira-kira begini: "Apabila azan sang muazin, berserulah dia, 'Asyhaduan Lailahaillallah', (ketika itu) bergoncanglah syurga. Sangatlah rindunya para bidadari dan bertambah-tambah rindunya lagi mereka akan Rasulullah SAW. Begitu juga segala mahligai syurga dan segala bilik peraduannya (bergoncang-goncang kerana) amat rindu kepada Rasulullah SAW. Kemudian Rasulullah SAW itu pula, selain rindunya yang bersangatan kepada syurga, juga tersangat rindu kepada suatu toifah dari kalangan umatnya yang akan keluar pada akhir zaman nanti. Mereka itu berakhlak dengan akhlak nabi-nabi dan mengambil perjalanan yang ditempuh oleh para siddiqin. Mereka ini adalah ghuraba(orang-orang asing) di kalangan umum mukminin."

Firman Allah SWT yang bermaksud: “Dan masa (kejayaan/ kekuasaan dan kehancuran) itu Kami pergilirkan di antara manusia (sebagai iktibar/ pengajaran)” (Ali Imran: 140)

Sabda Rasulullah SAW: “Akan terjadi di akhir zaman Islam muncul dari bumi sebelah Timur.” (tersebut di dalam Kitab Sababul Inhithat Al Muslimin oleh Sayid Hasan Ali An Nadwi)

Berdasarkan ayat di atas, jelas bahwa Allah menggilirkan kejayaan dan kejatuhan suatu bangsa dari dulu hingga kini.

As-Syahid Hasan Al-Banna pernah mengatakan; “Kepemimpinan dunia dipegang secara bergilir oleh orang dari Timur dan orang Barat.”

Sejarah telah membuktikan, kejayaan sesuatu bangsa dipergilirkan antara Timur dan Barat, bermula dari bangsa Qibti (Timur), bangsa Yunani (Barat), bangsa Farsi (Timur), Bangsa Romawi (Barat), kemudian bangsa Arab (Timur), dan kini Amerika (Barat) yang sedang menurun pengaruh kekuasaannya hari demi hari. Jika diikuti susunan timur-barat ini, giliran bangsa yang bakal menguasai dunia kini adalah bangsa dari Timur.

Telah mengeluarkan Tabrani dalam Al-Ausat, dari Ibnu Umar bahwa Nabi SAW telah mengambil tangan Ali dan bersabda : “Akan keluar dari sulbi ini pemuda yag memenuhi dunia dengan keadilan (Imam Mahdi). Bilamana kamu melihat yang demikian itu, maka wajib kamu mencari Pemuda dari Bani Tamim itu, dia datang dari sebelah Timur dan dia adalah pemegang bendera Al-Mahdi”. (dari kitab Al Hawi lil Fatawa oleh Imam Sayuti).

Timur manakah ? Dalam dunia Islam ada dua Timur, yaitu TimurTengah dan Timur jauh (Asia Tenggara). Bila diukur dari segi peluang, kewibawaan dan pengamalan Islam, Timur jauh mengatasi Timur Tengah.  Besar kemungkinan Timur yang dimaksud dalam hadist adalah Timur jauh (Asia Tenggara). Di Timur jauh satu bangsa yang menonjol pengamalan Islamnya dan belum pernah menjadi empire dunia adalah bangsa Melayu (nusantara) yang meliputi terutama Indonesia dan Malaysia, Brunei, Selatan Thailand, dan Mindanao.

Guru Besar Universitas Al Azhar Kairo, Prof. DR. Syeikh Abdul Hayyi Al-Farmawi, menegaskan bahwa kebangkitan Islam di masa depan akan dimulai di Indonesia. Beberapa tokoh dan penulis dunia di antaranya : Malik bin Nabi (penulis Perancis), Dr. Abdus Sallam Harras (Univ. Qarawiyyun Maroko), Judith Nagata (penulis Amerika), Mahmud Bajahji (mantan PM Irak) juga meyakini bahwa kebangkitan Islam akan bermula dari Asia Tenggara, dengan tulang punggungnya Indonesia dan Malaysia.

Maulid Nabi adalah peringatan hari lahir Nabi Muhammad saw, yang jatuh pada tanggal 12 Rabiul Awal (kalender Islam).

Sebagai umat Islam, tentu saja kita wajib mengetahui tentang kisah Nabi Muhammad Saw.

Kisah kehidupan beliau bukan hanya untuk dibaca atau didengarkan saja, tetapi dapat dijadikan contoh dalam kehidupan kita sehari-hari.

Kisah hidup Rasulullah Saw. memang penuh dengan hikmah. Meskipun beliau seorang nabi dan rasul pilihan Allah, hidupnya tidak lantas selalu bahagia dan mudah.

Beliau juga tetap menerima cobaan dan tantangan dalam berdakwah menyebarkan agama Islam.

Berikut cerita lengkap Nabi Muhammad Saw sejak lahir hingga wafat yang dikutip dari alwib.net:

Garis Keturunan

Rasulullah Saw mempunyai nama lengkap Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Abdul Muthalib bin Hasyim bin Abdi Manaf bin Qushayi bin Kilab bin Murrah bin Ka’ab bin Luayy bin Ghalib bin Fihr bin Malik bin Nadhar bin Kinanah bin Khuzaimah bin Mudrikah bin Ilyas bin Mudhar bin Nizar bin Ma’ad bin ‘Adnan dan selanjutnya bertemu garis keterunan beliau dengan Nabi Ismail as.

Adapun garis keturunan beliau dari sisi Ibunya adalah Muhammad bin Aminahbinti Wahab bin Abdi Manaf bin Zuhrah bin Kilab. Dengan demikian, garis keturunan beliau dari sisi ayah dan ibu bertemu pada kakek beliau, Kilab.

Tahun Gajah

Pada tahun ini datang pasukan gajah yang dipimpin oleh Abrahah dari negeri Habasyah untuk merobohkan Ka’bah.

Maksud jahat mereka ini berhasil digagalkan dengan pertolongan Allah SWT yang mengirimkan burung-burung Ababil, yang menjatuhkan batu-batu yang mengandung wabah penyakit dan menimpakannya atas pasukan Abrahah.

Perisitiwa ini terjadi pada pertengahan abad ke 6 Masehi.

Kelahiran Nabi Muhammad SAW

Menurut pendapat yang paling kuat, Rasulullah Saw dilahirkan pada hari Senin, malam 12 Rabiul Awwal di Makkah bertepatan dengan awal Tahun Gajah.

Jarak antara kelahiran Nabi Muhammad Saw dengan kelahiran Nabi Isa As adalah 571 tahun, antara Nabi Isa as hingga wafatnya Nabi Musa As adalah 1716 tahun, antara Nabi Musa As dan Nabi Ibrahim As adalah 545 tahun, antara Nabi Ibrahim As dan air bah yang terjadi pada masa Nabi Nuh As adalah 1080 tahun, antara air bah Nabi Nuh As dan Nabi Adam As adalah 2242 tahun.

Sehingga jarak antara kelahiran Nabi Muhammad Saw dan Nabi Adam As adalah 6155 tahun, berdasarkan riwayat yang masyhur dari para ahli sejarah.

Nabi Muhammad Saw dibesarkan di Makkah sebagai anak yatim, karena ayahnya Abdullah wafat di Madinah dua bulan sebelum Beliau lahir.

Pada waktu itu ayahnya sedang berdagang di Syam dan singgah di Madinah dalam keadaan sakit, hingga wafat di rumah pamannya dari bani Najjar.

Ayahnya tidak meninggalkan apa-apa kecuali 5 ekor unta dan sahaya perempuan.

Masa Persusuan Nabi Muhammad SAW

Pada waktu itu bangsa Arab mempunyai kebiasaan untuk menitipkan penyusuan anak-anak mereka kepada perempuan lain di dusun dengan harapan agar anak tersebut di kemudian hari mempunyai tubuh yang kuat dan omongan yang fasih.

Berdasarkan kebiasaan inilah kakeknya Abdul Muthalib menyerahkan cucunya Muhammad Saw kepada Halimah binti Dzuaib As-Sa’diyah salah seorang perempuan dari Bani Sa’ad untuk menyusui Beliau.

Pada saat itu, Bani Sa’ad sedang dilanda paceklik, kemarau panjang melanda daerah tempat tinggal mereka.

Tapi ketika Muhammad kecil tiba di kediaman halimah dan menetap di sana untuk disusui, lambat laun tanah di sekitar kediaman Halimah kembali subur.

Ketika Rasulullah Saw tinggal di kediaman Halimah sering terjadi hal-hal luar biasa pada diri Nabi Muhammad Saw termasuk peristiwa “pembelahan dada”.

Setelah disapih, Nabi Muhammad pun dikembalikan kepada ibundanya Aminah. Saat itu, Rasulullah Saw baru berusia lima tahun.

Wafatnya Ibu Nabi Muhammad Saw

Pada tahun keenam dari umur beliau SAW, ibunya membawanya pergi ke Madinah untuk menemui paman-pamannya di sana
